Ja så lång tid tar det att bryta en vana, speciellt de dåliga. Och nu idag, söndag, har jag tagit beslutet att ta itu med den sista av mina vanor som inte är av de goda slaget. I juli 2009 så slutade jag röka efter att ha varit rökare av och till sedan jag var 13 år. Jag fortsatte att snusa under tiden efteråt och det visade sig vara en mycket svårare vana att bryta. Mitten 2007-Februari 2008 lyckades jag nästan, men gjorde dumheten att byta ut snuset mot ‘fusksnus’ dvs. onico som nästan smakar som snus men utan nikotinet. Så när jag hade privata motgångar föll jag snabbt tillbaka i snusträsket.
Men den här gången är det ingen pardon, ska jag lyckas så ska det ske utan substitut. Har de senaste månaderna förberett mig mentalt, på samma sätt som jag gjorde när jag slutade röka. Och nu känner jag mig stark nog att ta steget, önska mig lycka till! Jag kommer de närmaste dagarna att blogga om hur det går, mina med och motgångar med förhoppningen att det ska inspirera andra att bryta dåliga vanor som är destruktiva för kropp och själ.
